Republic Elite & The Empire's Elite

Okay, guys, exciting times. The new expansion with similar size to Rise of the Hutt Cartel, has been announced. It is called the Shadow of Revan, and focuses on the conflict with Revan. Both Empire and Republic will have to combine their forces in order to stop the Infinite Army in thier leader. The level cap will be increased to 60 for this expansion, meaning that there will be 5 new levels of story content (will get to that in a moment). Also, if you pre order the expansion while you are a subscriber, you will get a 12x experience boost for your class missions! Wow! 

Now, combat is getting a pretty big overhaul. Skill trees are being scrapped in favor of the Discipline system. This will allow players to better experience the intracacies of their class before hitting level 45 and up. This is a great move, and one that I think adds a large amount of balance to the game. It also adds a new sense of uniqueness to combat. Read up on it

For story content, two new planets have been added. Rishi, a pirate haven, and my personal favorite.. Yavin 4! The home of the fearsome Massassi warriors, the ancient Sith warrior caste. There will also be 2 new tactical flashpoints, 4 new hard mode flashpoints, and 2 new operations! I'm so very excited for this! New operations and hard mode flashpoints were needed, and I love how they picked two planets that were very relevant to Star Wars history for this expansion. Obviously some new gear will be in place, and I have seen some screenshots of a Masassi warrior in the released images... needless to say SWTOR is going to be so very exciting
